I’m not talking about frustration or despair. I’m talking flat out ANGER!!! In keeping with our color coded security scheme and the pilot who flew the plane into the IRS building;
Core Breach Overload – I’m ready to fly! Someone NEEDS to pay for their sins, just show me the way.
RED Zone – I am very angry. I’m taking flying lessons.
ORANGE Zone – I am angry. I sympathize with the pilot.
YELLOW Zone – I have some anger. But, the pilot was wrong.
GREEN Zone – I have no anger at all. What pilot?

Let me list just three items … one very well known issue, and two lesser issues, just to show the scope;
1) HEALTH CARE ANGER

Unfortunately for Obastard, a research team from Madrid’s King Juan Carlos University produced a detailed, substantive, heavily sourced, two-method paper: “Study of the Effects on Employment of Public Aid to Renewable Energy Sources.” The paper concluded that Spain’s “green jobs” program was an economic failure, in fact costing Spain many jobs. Meanwhile, a Freedom of Information Act request reveals the Department of Energy turned to George Soros and to wind industry lobbyists to attack the studies, so the filthy rich can ram their putrid non-solutions down our throats at the cost of hundreds of billions of dollars.

Good article, Stuck, well-conceived and well-written. It speaks to the health of the polity, to our collective mental and societal health. Interesting timing, as another post with a different angle regarding "Depression's Upside" is coming out.
I think I fall into a non-listed category... maybe no color, like far UV or gamma rays. Call it Cold Fusion (or Ice Fuschia? I don't know, sounds a bit metrosexual). The one where the anger has passed out of the extremely hot, intense range of "ready to fly" into the cold fusion of "I'm building planes."

Get a stamp (s) "Audit the Fed!" or "We, the People, are Pissed!" or "Property of China" Stamp the Green side of all your U.S. currency. A small protest by one person but one hell of a big message if all ANGRY Americans did it. Let's see the Obama administration try to explain that one away when they see currency from all over the country coming in with those messages.

I know that I am plenty pissed, probably between the Red Zone and Core Breach Overload. It's because I am aware of what is going on due in large part to TBP and the internet in general. But I gotta tell ya, I'm not sensing the anger around me. I go to the store and there seems to be a happy crowd. I talk to my wife, who works at Verizon and ask her if anyone talks about what is going on in the country. She says that it's not something they talk about during the day. Christ, what is it going to take? Down here in Maryland, we have Cardin and Mikulski for Senators and two better Socialists have not lived. A fucking moron Governor O'Malley who does nothing but lie and raise taxes. 7 out of our 8 Congressmen are pathetic Progressive Democrats who know that they could vote for Communism and still be reelected.

Ok, I am angry today, but not at the govt. I am angry at someone doing something to try to hurt a family member of mine behind his back. Can I put myself in the red category for that - without the flying lessons, I don't like violence. But I am pissed off today!

I am not angry at all. I don't like one bit what's going on in the nation. In fact, there is hardly anything that I do like that's going on today, but I can't get mad about any of it. Perhaps I should be mad, but I'm not. I'm more of a head shaker, and then I say, Brutal!, when I see what's going on. I am doing all I can to try to change things by educating as many people as will listen, but I also tell them if we can't change things, then prepare for the worst.
Maybe it's from years of studying Scripture and Classical Philosophy, but I don't see anything positive for me or anyone else by my getting angry. And then too I've been teaching against most of what's going on since the late `60s. There is a possibility I'm immune to anger at this point. Of course, I've already had about every possible negative on earth happen to me, and I'm still standing.
Sorry Stuck. I suppose you want everyone seething along with you, but I just can't do it.
The best to all of you in your anger, for I hope some good comes of it.

It's probably none of my business but I think you did the wrong thing by cutting off the link with absolutely no warning. If there is an unbreachable rift between the two of you shouldn't he at least be given a 2-3 day "grace" period so he can warn his readers the site is going down and so he can point them to a new link?
A lot of people there probably have no clue about this site. You could also use it as an opportunity to point people here.
Kind of sad and ironic ... we're here to discuss problems and solutions ... and we can't even get our own house in order.

Anger is not the mode to facilitate change; it is the flip side of FEAR. I am classified a baby boomer and I had my day. Now it is time for the next generation to take the reins. We complain about government without realizing we created what it is during our lifetime by the actions and inactions we took. What we as babyboomers are facing is the passing of our control to others and this fear is what has made us angry. Let's face it, our journey here in Lucifer's domain is almost over and it is time to be resolved to move on to the next world. I would say we need to get our spiritual house in order. The world is going to proceed in it's direction as is. We should be greatful we have had full productive lives and we will probably go to our graves while there is still stability around us. So, How Angry are YOU....Really?
