OMG -- and this information has been slowly coming to light since May! And there has been no real national outcry about it in the mainstream media?

I dare say that tells us for sure that the government, specifically the executive branch of government, is thoroughly in control of the American media. So much for a free press.

The only way this is going to become a scandal is if people pass this information along personally, through word of mouth, internet postings, and so forth. Do print outs of the articles, including the original Examinar article and leave them in barber shops, libraries and dentists offices. They can perhaps control the mass media, but they can't control every printer and personal computer in America.

First of all, it's "Sieg Heil" not "Sig" Heil. Secondly, Hitler was not a Communist. Secondly, the US and its President are Marxist-Communists. Fascism, or National Socialism, was a reaction against Communism. Moreover, fascism allowed free market trade and agriculture (some of it under state direction, not all of it) until the war assumed first priority. Germans were living very well and were happy while Americans were lingering on the streets, in bread lines, and in general squalor. Get the facts straight. Neo-Communism is the problem. America is not fascist and never has been.

I am very disturbed by the trend toward socialism and the erosion of our constitution, and am no fan of Obama.  There are plenty of confirmed facts to be very concerned about (as can be seen many places, such as the Glenn Beck program, which I highly recommend).  But apparently this particular issue does not hold up under scrutiny.

Snopes.com says the vast majority of closed Chrysler dealerships were in fact republican owned, but, so were most of the dealerships that were not closed, because most car dealership owners tend to be republican.

In point of fact, the treatment of the German automakers - and all other large businesses - followed precisely this pattern.  And although Hitler claimed to be fighting Communism, his National Socialism was different from Stalin's communism... by precious little.

Could it be that almost all of the dealers both open and closed are Republicans and more likely the dealerships owned by relatives of factory management were favored?

I believe the person who wrote the prior comment has missed the entire point of the article. The American people are being taken for a sorry ride down the primrose path. Isn't it ironic that the current President can be seen on television claiming that we can all disagree and still respect each other> I ask you if shutting down someone's business is showing respect to them, just because there is a disagreement in philosophy? How about the 100,000 people who lost their jobs and way of earning a living because of a difference in political views? How oukd you like to lose your job because your boss disagrees with someone else? This represents an attack on the basic ideas embodied in the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.
